Knitting Pure and Simple #981 Children’s Neckdown Cardigan

Made from Knitpick’s Kettle Dyed Worsted in ‘Auburn’, which is sadly no longer available.  I really liked this yarn and I’m sorry that I didn’t get more of it, in more colors, while it was still around.  They do have a line with many of the same colors in a sock yarn, but it looks like that’s on it’s way out as well.

I love this sweater.  The red-brown color looks great on my sweet Goosey Boy.  The buttons turned out to be just perfect.  It was quick and easy to knit and I adore the simple, classic styling.  Elijah and Galen have been on a matching kick lately.  I think I’m going to make him the same sweater, in a different color, for his birthday.  In fact, I see myself knitting this one, a lot.
