Something a little different today since the day got away from me and I never took the pictures I needed to continue with the homeschooling series. And besides, who couldn’t do with a little baby sweetness??
Yet another Angry Chicken bonnet. This one made in the ‘child’ size. It’s too big for her really, but the baby size is too small and at least this way she’ll have lots of room to grow. The outer fabric is ‘Vintage Cherries’ from the Michael Miller ‘Farmers Market’ line (designed by Sandi Henderson), the lining is a color-grown green organic gingham, with some baby ric rac peeking out at the brim and a red satin ribbon to hold it all in place.
She seems to very big, all running around, that sometimes I have to take pictures of the two of them together because it makes her look small again.
I think the bonnet looks adorable too big! I made one for my littlest last year, still need to make another for my older daughter, keep forgetting though, thanks for the reminder
Gingham, stripes, and cherries is definitely super cute!
Oh isn’t she adorable in her bonnet!!! And she looks even more like Iain as she gets older. . . she is precious, and the bonnet is wonderful.
Okay, I gotta make that bonnet for my almost-9 year old girl. . .she still loves to wear things like that and she could use a new sun hat! Wonder if I could make a boyish version for my 3 year old son, or is that over the top? Hmmm
ok, can i just squeeze her?that bonnet looks so cute on her!!!
beautiful bonnet! And what a sweet little girl
okay she is just precious! i love the bonnet too – i just found a handmade one at the thrift store with elastic in the back to hold it on – your’s is beautiful~
