Iain, Elijah, Galen and Màiri Rose: haircuts for all!

Some big changes here.  I’m quite used to Iain growing his hair for a year or more and then suddenly wanting it quite short.  There are no in-betweens with this boy.  And Elijah generally prefers his shorter, it got quite unruly while I was out of commission and irritated him considerably.    But the others…sigh.  It’s bad enough that Galen made me cut off all of his curls, but Màiri was quite insistent on short hair as well.  Farewell dear sweet silky-smooth, baby fine, golden curls!  She looks perfectly cute this way, but much like a great big school girl and not in the least like my own little baby. sigh.  I tried every method I could think of for convincing her otherwise, but when it got to the point where she was threatening to do it herself I had to relent.  There is no way I could possibly track down all the scissors in our house!  Of course I kept a tiny lock to remember.

Like I said, big changes.
