And sew too, for that matter….Though there were a couple of months there were I was just too exhausted to do anything…. What I don’t seem to find the time to do, is take pictures of my projects, transfer the pictures to my computer, upload them to flickr, and make a post. Something in that process always falls through, leaving me with quite the backlog of projects that I’ve never gotten around to sharing.
These wristlets are actually a recent project. My computer is still not recognizing my camera, but I happened to transfer these pictures over last week.
These were a birthday present for my mom. We are trying very, very hard to cut expenses, so everyone can expect gifts made from either my fabric stash or my yarn stash, at least for the foreseeable future!
The pattern is “Little Green Wristlets” from Judith Durant’s “101 Designer One-Skein Wonders”. And I made them using leftovers from Juliet.
This time, instead of muslin and raffia, I wrapped them up in a floral fat quarter, with a stain ribbon tie. And that combination was quite lovely as well.
Those are just lovely! I am finishing up a pair in the same color with the pattern from Knitty Summer06. Here is the pattern you can look at:

We’re in the same boat as you, trying to cut expenses and all handmade is the plan this year:-)
Lovely!
