wideboard pine (it is pine right?) is one of the most beautiful sights in the world, when you refinish it (unfortunately pine is rather damage prone, though easy to refinish) you will notice the aging sap will begin to show a surprising variety of colors ranging from green to purple. I refinished quite a few with my brother-in-law and they just become more and more beautiful with time. Enjoy! -molli’s friend steve.
