I do so love it when they humor the little ones.
These big boys of mine, they really amaze me sometimes. Last night I was ill. In the morning I told them I needed to rest and asked if they might make breakfast for everyone. They shuffled the little ones off upstairs, giving them some of their own playthings for entertainment; a novel treat sure to keep their attention. They got breakfast in to cook and then of their own accord, decided to clean the kitchen. Yes, seriously! It was in a pretty bad way at the end of a long busy week, especially with my having been sick last night. They cleaned it from top to bottom and then fixed some tea to serve with breakfast, stopping in to bring a cup to me. Oh dear little souls! I’m blessed beyond words.

I have occasional migraines- which are literally crippling- and if Andy is not home, my big girl always steps in and is utterly amazing.

I am feeling better, thank you! I just had a really bad reaction to a food I reintroduced into my diet. At least it was nothing contagious!
What a blessing to have such thoughtful boys. Doesn’t it just melt your heart when your children love on you in unexpected ways? Hope you are feeling better.
