This little sweater was the new project that I cast on during the ice storm, and the one that I finished up during this past weekend of consecutive snowstorms.
It’s the Boat-Neck Sweater from Baby Knits for Beginners by Debbie Bliss, with some random garter ridges thrown in for interest. I made the 6-9 month size because in looking through my baby things, it seems as though the wee-one could use some warmer options in that range. I made it using the sage merino Paton’s (the same stuff I used to trim the papoose. This babe is going to have a lot of green to wear!).
I’m pretty sure that the little one is hanging on in hopes of having an entire new wardrobe prior to his or her arrival.
I was certain you’d have a Solstice baby! Hope you’re feeling OK and enjoying these extra creative days.
i love your baby jumper, the random stripes look great! look forward to seing it on bubba
