breaking radio silence

Or, well, internet silence anyway.  We’re back!  Trip was great.  All is well.  I avoided the computer for the entire week and I think that was a very Good Thing.  Now I’m back, all fresh as a daisy, but moving a bit slow (that colossal laundry pile is keeping me busy as well).  I answered a few questions, updated our reading list and took care of all the spam comments from while I was away (all, are you ready for it? 918 spam comments.  shesh.  might be time to do something about that).  And now I’m on to sorting through the pictures I took last week; all 608 of them.  I imagine there will be a few of them posted here.  Oh, and knitting too!  So, so much knitting!  I’m way behind on posting my projects.  Good things to come!

Im very excited to see all of your recent knitting projects.
I was wondering about that dress in progress, Màiri’s dress?
I think you posted a picture back in December! It looked so pretty!

Oh yes, that one has been done for ages. I still need to get pictures, but I’ll share it soon, I promise!

This is a great picture! You all look wonderful together- I am amazed how tall Iain is, and Mairi looks tall too with you holding her- did she take after your husband by any chance for height?
    Welcome home!

She is tall. Elijah takes after me in pretty much every respect, but everyone else seems to tend more towards Steve’s genetics. Pictures of Steve and I always make me laugh. It’s the only time that I can actually see us together and appreciate how truly ridiculous we look standing next to each other!

I thought Mairi looked long on your hip, with her leg hanging down!
I think you two look great together. :) My husband and I are the same height because I am very tall and he is “medium.” We have two tall kids and one “medium” one. :) I am measuring huge (due in 2 months) and so I’m thinking maybe another tall one, we’ll see.
