Of my sewing this week, everything has been made from my stash; notions, trims, everything was from what I had on hand. Everything, except for the above hedgehog fabric and the egg fabric. Both of those were impulse buys at the fabric store late last week. Nine dollars worth of fabric that became two pairs of pants…I can’t say I feel too guilty about it.
And Goosey-Boy is terribly pleased about it all.
More of the same here, with a little bit of a twist. Again I love the pants, but I’m somewhat ambivalent about the shirt. I think it’s just too bright for me. I’m not too keen on bright colors.
I think he’s tickling himself here.
The pants really are great though. I’m very pleased with this pattern that I came up with. They are so quick and easy and it’s a perfect fit (they look silly in the above pictures because they are twisted). Only takes 1/2 yard of fabric too!
These are so sweet! I love the whole outfit!
you have been busy these are precious!!!
Positively adorable! And I love your photography.
I adore this outfit. Have a soft spot for hedgies and I think it looks sweet on your little one.
Oh I LOVE these! Such a great combination! I wasn’t so fortunate in my adventures last week, but perhaps this week will prove better. In the meantime, I’ve shared some monkey shorts over at my blog
The hedgies are adorable! Where can I get the pattern for the pants and applique?
Thank you everyone.
Kristen- I’m sorry to say that I made them both up, so I can’t recommend a pattern to you. The pants are just a trusted pattern, that I know fits well, that I made up a while ago from a pair of his pants. I just shortened the legs and hemmed them with bias tape. The applique I just based off of the hedgehog print fabric.
