of sewing regularly that is.
This story starts with a cotton sweater.
A sweater that a mouse chewed a hole through (don’t get me started).
That my husband gave to me to see if I could find a use for (I’m touched by his confidence in me).
Something about the color just screamed 1800′s street urchin to me. So, that’s the way that I went with it.
Only more modern and funky.
Complete with an urchin-y sort of hat (dude, Dickensian London can get brisk).
Wait. Is he supposed to be a street urchin or a startled moose?!?
I’m so confused…
I’m closing the comments on the Bubble Hat Giveaway at 9:00 pm EST tonight, so if you’d like a chance to win and you haven’t yet commented, it’s time to get those last minute entries in!
I love this! It is perfectly antique and modern. Sweet!
Fantastic job! And you proved your husband right, too.
I know, bad of me for pointing out he was right, but he was so very right!
Street urchin…moose…all adorable, antique looking boy.
Oh, it’s alright. He’s right a lot of the time, just not when he’s contradicting me.
Love it! it’s just wonderful.
your blog is so beautiful and inspiring
