More random pages from Galen’s birthday book. Yes, I’m back to using all white background pages. Aren’t I boring? I can’t help it. I like things to be simple, clean lines, all of that. Sometimes I get really wild and crazy and change around the font. Yup. I am, out. of. control. Wee-hee.
A winner has been chosen in the software giveaway. Congratulations to Pamela Smith! I’ll be contacting you later with your prize.

I love his birthday book. You are so clever!
These pages are terrific, Melody! I am loving this idea so much. I am thinking about a baby book for Dori before this baby comes (yes, I am *that* behind on photos!) and maybe a birthday book for Ari this spring- but a question for you- how are you planning to print these up? Do you use Blurb or some similar service, or will you print it yourself?
xoxo Taisa
See now, that doesn’t seem that far behind to me, since I’m completely convinced that Dori is still like, 6 months old! Bound books in a variety of styles can be ordered through My Memories, so that’s what I’m planning to do. Mostly because it’s the easiest way to go about it. They are offering a free 6″ book to new users right now. That’s too small for what I want to do for Galen, but I was thinking of taking the pictures from Mairi’s birthday party and turning them into a sweet little book for her. I think she’d like that.
The blog was very helpful in putting Galen’s together. I basically went month by month through the archives to figure out what had happened. Then I went back and padded it out with the more personal stuff that I don’t usually post here (mostly photos of him with family and friends).
I’ve been thinking of you lately. How are you feeling???
xoxo Melody
Thanks for the reply- ha- I forget Dori isn’t 6 months old too- though he doesn’t let me forget for long! I still think of Mairi as a baby too, it is hard to keep up! I think I will give this program and it’s books a try- I just get so overwhelmed with the backlog of photos- maybe a yearly family album? Anyway, thanks for the info and I am glad you are up and about a bit, I’ve been thinking of you a lot too. I am doing well. A little tired out, but who isn’t in February?
Sending big hugs your way,
