Ali from “skeins her way…” is running a contest through the end of the month for a free copy of her fitted tank pattern and the yarn to make it with…Blue Sky Alpaca’s organic cotton…which has simply got to be some of the most luxurious yarn around. Free organic yarn sounds good to me.
To qualify you are supposed to write a blog post detailing your knitting plans for the summer. Luckily, there is no rule that says I have to stand by those plans, because as I mentioned earlier, my to-do list is getting a wee bit excessive.
Off the top of my head, here we go:
1) Sweater for Elijah
2) a pair of shorties and a soaker
3) 3 pairs of mittens (one pair per child)
4) 2 felted llamas for my sisters (don’t ask)
5) longies
6) possibly a shirt for me
7) at least a few of the random little things I’ve been thinking about (a panta, more bibs, maybe a few dishcloths, little toys, you get the idea)
How many months are there in summer again?? I could go on and on, there are just some many things that I would like to get to. But I’m going to stop typing here, so that I can actually go and knit something. If I don’t, I’m going to end up with a whole lot of over-flow from my “what I plan to knit this spring” list.
I want a llama! (does my cute face that makes you want to do things for me still work on you?)
I am AMAZED by your creativity and productivity. Some days I’m lucky to get three meals made–LOL. I need to go through my stash and pick a couple projects and DO THEM. Thanks for the inspiration.
I’ve tagged you over at my blog: http://www.fightingtostaycontent.blogspot.com
if you want to play:)
Molli- I thought you wanted a blueberry hat??? Make up your mind woman! As fas as your cute face goes, the only way to find out it to come show it to me…
mama to the masses- You have more then twice the number of children I have. Plus animals. Getting a meal on the table *is* a huge act of creativity and productivity!
