Two weeks post computer apocalypse, my beloved decided to revisit the situation. Turns out that it was just the keyboard that was fried, and not the laptop itself. I have now been set up with a cheap-o keyboard and things are relatively back to normal. Though my screen is still pretty blurry. But I think that’s probably to be expected, all things considered!

I do now plan on continuing with this blog, though potentially on a more limited basis. Taking the time to really evaluate what the computer and my time on it means to me has been informative. I think that in the future, I will be far more judicious in choosing where to focus my energy. This blog does enhance my life in many ways. Some of my other internet haunts, perhaps not. I also know that my number of posts tend to increase during the winter months. Actively seeking out beauty to share is such a comfort to me in those dark days.

For now, I suspect that they next couple of weeks will be pretty quiet. I foresee a couple weeks that will primarily feature images. This season is so visual, isn’t it? Lends itself well to quiet, I think.
