Back to the beach on a warmer and sunnier day.

After a short dip, Iain and Elijah decided that the water was too cold (never mind that we had to drag them, blue lipped and shivering, from the water the day before, when it was significantly cooler) and sat, cuddled up in towels on the beach with Daddy, watching a group of surfers and chatting.

But this little guy had no intention of sitting still. There was far too much exploring to be done!

We had such a lovely time, just the two of us, wandering all over the beach. He filled his pockets with interesting rocks and we buried each other in the sand. There was quite a bit of seagull chasing. At one point, he insisted on climbing a sand dune. After a bit of work, we spent a long while on the top of it, cuddled together, singing songs and watching the people on the beach below. Such sweet, sweet times together. And decidedly one of my favorite memories from this trip.
